The Word She Took Home -Calligraphy in Osaka

The other day, we welcomed two lovely guests from France.

After the session, they sent us this beautiful message:

"My friend and I loved this moment, it was even better than we imagined. We will remember it all our lives, and we are delighted to bring a paper souvenir back to France!”

The Word She Chose: “忍耐力” (Endurance)

She chose the word "忍耐力 (Nintai-ryoku)", which means “endurance” or “patience.”

She shared a touching story about waiting two hours at the top of Mt. Fuji, hoping to see just a single ray of light break through the clouds.

In the end, she saw that light—and wanted to celebrate her own patience by writing this word in calligraphy

From First Time to Full of Life

Even though it was their very first time doing calligraphy—and they’re not learning Japanese—I was really touched that they chose this as the last stop on their journey in Japan.

The way they wrote was full of life, and their bright smiles spoke louder than words.

With energy like that, I have no doubt beautiful things are waiting for them both.
